Using Content Porter 2009 SP1 for DTAP Part 1

This document describes a process to move Content Manager changes between various different Tridion systems (Typically named DTAP, or Development, Test, Acceptance and Production)

Pre-Requisites

The following are pre-requisites for using this tutorial.  For additional versions or other software check the SDL Content Porter 2009 SP1 Product Pre-requisites guide.

• Content Manager 2011 (part of SDL Tridion 2011)

• Hardware/Software pre-requisites defined for the Content Manager

• Both Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 and 4.0

• Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (or the following)

• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0

• Microsoft Windows 7 (x86) (or the following)

• Microsoft Windows 7 (x64)

• Microsoft Windows Server 2003 SP2 32-bit architecture (x86)

• Microsoft Windows Server 2003 SP2 64-bit architecture (x64)

• Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 32-bit architecture (x86)

• Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 64-bit architecture (x64)

• Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit architecture (x64)
