SDL Tridion Community week in review - November 13, 2011

This week we released SDL Tridion 2011 SP1, congratulations to our Development team for a job well done. This release will lay down the foundations for much more to come in the next few months.

We also had, for the first time ever, a community-organized webinar last Wednesday. All the slides and the webex recording stream are available on on Julian Wraith's weblog.

Perhaps unsurprisingly I got caught short on my reading of the Release Notes for 2011 SP1 and misread some of the wording in it. Luckily, Andrey came to the rescue and set it all straight again.

Last but not least, I think it's time we try to get ourselves separated from the Tridion Safety Cell and start promoting the #sdltridion tag instead.
